<p><b>Rental Vacancy Rate (RVR)</b><br />
The rental vacancy rate in third quarter 2008 (9.9 percent) was not statistically different from the third quarter 2007 rate (9.9 percent).</p>

<p><b>Homeowner Vacancy Rate (HVR)</b><br />
The homeowner vacancy rate in third quarter 2008 (2.8 percent) was not statistically different from the third quarter 2007 rate (2.7 percent).</p>
